The Role
The location (Paris), the job role, the working enviroment and the experience gained were invaluable
Excellent relationship with everyone in the team, also, open space layout encouraged socialisations with other departments.
It has been an eventful year and the structure has changed management-wise, but this encouraged me to use my own initiative.
Often very busy but in a good way
Increasingly high level of responsability, very rewarding, I was responsible for a few projects and I was trusted to manage a number of important activities, such as budget monitoring and press coverage.
Everything (the good, the less good, the location, the language) has helped to get "skills for life" on both a professional and personal level.
The Company
Very good balance between work and jokes.
Due to changes in management and to the fact that I was based abroad there have occasionally been some minor organisational issues, but nothing major.
I feel like my collegues in France have invested 100% in my development, but not in terms of "traditional" training, eg. I never attended Excel training etc. But my team invested in my development in a daily basis.

National Travel
International Travel
It will depend on the choices I'll make i the future, but I have been told I'd be welcome to come back and work in France.
The Culture
For a few months I was the only placement student (in Paris). On the contrary, Panasonic UK had quite a high number of placement students.
Paris is quite expensive...
Great nightlife!
That's up to the individual I guess... There is always LOTS to do in a city like Paris, but it's not something linked to the job, it's up to the person wether to make the most of such an amazing location or not..
