  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really fun and interesting work

  • Colleagues asked for work that they needed help to complete quickly.

  • Under supervision throughout but not much communication unless asked for.

  • Not at all at the beginning, really busy by the end. Depends on the department.

  • Involved in some really important and interesting cases.

  • Learnt a lot about different practice areas through focus on sessions which provided a good overview of different areas of law.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was very happy and fun, even when workload was heavy.

  • Outlook calendar used to ensure everyone knew where to be and when. Could have been given a bit more warning about nature and timings of socials.

  • Lots of practice area sessions and interesting activity based talks.

  • An all-round lovely firm.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Other placement students were very friendly and up for having fun.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • City of London, so pretty expensive. Socials were all paid for by the firm.

  • Only a few pubs, but socials planned in centre of london.

  • Chance to get involved in pro bono work.
