The Role
I enjoyed the work I was doing and was great to use what I had learnt at uni
I was treated the same as the rest of the staff and made me feel part of the team
I was able to approach my manager for support but was sometimes hard to book meetings with him
I had regualar jobs to do on a daily basis but at times like month end and inventory when there was more work to get done
I was given a lot of responsibility and had my own areas of the business to manage
I was able to go on training courses such as Microsoft Access, managing time and presentation skills, this has enhanced my own skills
The Company
Everyone in the office was friendly and there was a good balance between working n socialising
The placement has been running for many years and Accounts and Finance have a placement student every year so they know what to expect
The company made sure I had the skills to do my job
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
The company is very appealing and would like to go back in the future
The Culture
We arranged our own nights out and socialised with the graduates as well
It is not that expensive to live near to Burnaston
There is good night life in Derby, Nottingham and both near by
