The Role
Every day was really interesting and I learnt a lot!
Everyone was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to answer questions and provide interesting work.
both the partner and associate in my first seat were willing to answer any questions I had - no matter how basic.
Very busy in corporate. Less so in real estate but still kept engaged.
Was amazed when told work I had done was being sent to the client!
Have learnt to be incredibly meticulous.
The Company
So friendly and fairly relaxed, consdiering it's a City law firm!
The talks were wonderful and the assessment day went really smoothly. Work in the actual seats was more sporadic, but this gave an idea of how work will actually be as a trainee solicitor.
I felt as though trainees, associates and partners would all take the time to explain things to me.
Atmosphere, level of job interest and friendliness of everyone I met makes SH incredibly appealing!
The Culture
We all got along very well and I hope to stay in touch. This was helped by the drinks evening and bowling will also hopefully offer another chance to bond.
Fairly expensive to what I'm used to, but that has to be expected in such a prime location.
I don't know - I didn't go out.
I was asked to join the netball team for a game and activites such as lunch time yoga are very appealing. The associate I was sat with in corporate also seemed to have a group of friends to go running with.
