    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Well organised, great people to work with. Really enjoyed it and learnt a lot.

    • Very welcoming, but they were mostly quite busy

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • It really depends on who your buddy and supervisor are, but I've not heard from any other vac schemers that they've not been given support. Plus HR staff are really friendly and helpful.

    • Really hard to say.. I was very busy on some days, but then quite relaxed on others.

    • As a summer placement student, you can't be expected to be given responsibility

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I think I will have learnt a lot from the very intense and tough assessment day.

    • Busy but everyone is relaxed and down to earth

    • You could really see that HR really did put in a lot of efforts in organising the placement scheme.

    • Yes and pls do socialise with your fellow schemers! you are not competing against each other!
