The Role
I enjoyed the wide variety of work and gaining an insight into an international commercial law firm.
My Trainee Buddies were both excellent, unfortunately my first supervisor was only present 2 of the 5 days and didn't give me any work and my second was extremely so she couldn't spend any time with me. However I understand that is the nature of a busy law firm, which I enjoy.
I was kept busy with a wide variety of research tasks and reviewing which I enjoyed.
Naturally being a vacation scheme student we can't be given that much responsibility, but everyone was very grateful for the work I completed.
The Company
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Retention rates are good, I feel that the firm will be fair in judging if I suit there nature I will be given a job. They really invest in their staff.
The Culture
Although more social events could have been arranged particularly in the first week.
Reasonable for central London.
It was reasonable for central London but not the best place to be located.
We had the opportunity to get involved in sports teams, I wouldn't really expect any more.
