The Role
A very insightful and diverse fortnight
My department and trainees were very welcoming
The lawyers were very supportive; HR and graduate recruitment were kind but made some slips.
As busy as a two week summer student could have been, most of the time
As much responsibility as a two week summer student could have been
The scheme offered some essential practical legal skills, but not many and it did not assist with an academic degree
The Company
Very busy but welcoming
There were good intentions but daily changes and miscommunications.
The firm is clearly vested in strong graduate recruitment
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
The company came across as a great commercial law firm to work for
The Culture
A lot of social events were well attended and fun
The same area as I usually live in
Very popular area
2 weeks is a short time to arrange extra curricular activities
