The Role
The work was challenging with a lot of new concepts. It was a very enjoyable experience.
I have gained respect from my colleagues and was given responsibility to real work from the first day. They were very supportive and friendly.
They were very supportive and seek opportunities for me during my time here.
Most of the time, I have to work on a client site and during the project, I will be quite busy. However, there are some days that I get to stay in the office which makes it a perfect balance.
I gave my input in various reports for the client.
I developed time management skills, multi-tasking skills and communication skills hugely during the internship. This will help me in my degree as well as my future career
The Company
My colleagues were very friendly and helpful. We have a coffee area and some of us go and have their breaks there.
My schedule was full with client work and it was a very good experience. My buddy would organise work for me when a job got cancelled, but it is very flexible and can change last minute.
I went to the induction day and gained more understanding about the industry. Also, we can sign up to online courses to gain further knowledge in various areas.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
It is a very nice place to work for.
The Culture
We organise regular meet ups to catch up during the placement. It is a nice opportunity to meet people from different universities from other KPMG departments. We also share our work experience and what we got assigned to do.
I was working in Manchester, the cost of living here is not as expensive as London.
The office is very close to the town centre. So, it would still be quite busy at night.
Yes. We had the option to participate in CSR events during the internship.
