The Role
It was a really pleasant experience from which I have learnt a lot
Everyone I worked with was really helpful. They were offering me guidance everytime I was asking questions.
I was assigned different tasks everyday so I felt like I was really doing something worthwhile during my internship.
I have developed my interpersonal skills as well as my business awareness. Also, I have gained a valuable insight in the practical aspects of audit.
The Company
The atmosphere in my office was really professional, but at the same time very relaxed, without making you feel pressured.
The internship was very well organised. We were given a schedule right from the start. I took part in a wide range of activities. We went on a two day trainig, took part in the corporate responsibility day at a primary school and did fundraising.
The induction, training and the guidance received in general made me feel that Grant Thorton has invested a lot in me and the fact that all these were delivered at the highest standards made everything I was working on seem worthwhile.

Company Parties/Events
After working as an intern I find the gradute job to be very appealing and I would definitely accept the offer if I was given one at the end.
The Culture
All the other interns were really friendly and helpful. My buddy was also extremely friendly and helped me with any kind of questions I had. I felt like there was always somone willing to help no matter what problem I had and that made the placement even more enjoyable.
My office was not that far from my uni campus so there was not a big difference from what I normally spend during term time.
There were some opportunities to get involved in other kind of activities besides work. There are netball and football games and trainings that you can take part in anytime if you wish.
