The Role
The office is really nice, just audit is a slightly boring job in itself.
Very, it was expected than I was clueless with regard to the actual work, but everyone I worked with was very relaxed and basically taught me to do my tasks.
Not much contact with my line manager, but that is the nature of audit.
Depended day to day, some days working non stop, others people make work for you to do, varies each day.
From Day 1, given access to lots of confidential information and told to create stuff with it. Very trusting and great in terms of the placement.
A presentation skills workshop, which was great.
The Company
Quite quiet, but everyone goes out together at many company organised events.
Very organised, I knew what to do every day.
Lots, presentation course.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Very good qualification, good collegues, good atmosphere at work.
The Culture
Not many interns at my office but lots of trainees.
Sheffield is a cheap city.
Good, but not as good as when all the students are back.
Countless company events, all paid for aswell.
