The Role
The people were all really nice and friendly, and I've made some great friends. The only bad thing was a bit of the time there wasnt enough work for the interns to do, and we didnt have much to do with our down time.
Everyone in the office was really friendly and helpful and they didnt mind being asked loads of questions. They invited us out for lunch and to go for drinks etc so no one felt like an outsider.
We had a counsellor but we didnt really get to have much contact with them. Most of my support actually came from my buddy who was really friendly, chatted with me loads and answered all my questions.
It varied quite a lot, on some days we would have nothing to do and on others we would be staying late because we had so much.
A lot of the work given was just updating files etc. but there were times when I would be helping write board minutes or preparing an audit for a small company which was import work.
I feel much more comfortable working in an office environment and working with people I've never met before. I'm also much less nervous and shy when it comes to asking questions so I think it has helped quite a lot.
The Company
Everyone was very relaxed and it was much more casual than I thought it would have been which was really good.
All the events they ran etc went really well, the only bad thing was that sometimes there wasnt enough work to do.

The Culture
There were quite a few events organised by the Graduate Recruitment team, and then the other interns organised loads of stuff for the interns to do. We also got invited to office events with the people from the department we were in.
I live in London 15 minutes walk from the office so i didnt have to pay for travel, but going out for drinks in London can be quite expensive.
As we were only interns there wasnt much we could do because we were only at the company for 5 weeks, but on our final week we had a CSR day which was voulunteering in the community which I thought was a really good idea. If you work there properly then you have a certain amount of time you are allowed to take off to volunteer etc.
