The Role
E&Y as an organisation deserve praises for the amount of effort they put into their Summer Internship Programme
The team within E&Y could not demonstrated more support and encouragement
On top of the mentoring system available, every level of management was involved in making sure I had the best experience possible
The team made sure I gained a wide spectrum of relevant exposure, but at the same time never made me work just for the sack of, every piece of work was charged to clients or conttributed towards a wider portfolio
Enough to feel the challenge and to improve my abilities to work under pressure
Due to my studies in the relevant field at the undergrad level, I probably did not gain as many technical skills as my peers. However, the experience of interacting with my team, and the positive working environment around me, has changed my perspective on how the working life should be.
The Company
Very professional, but still personal at the sam time.
E&Y HR and SIP team did a fantastic job of set up the internship programme from begining to end.
Yet to come across any peers in the industries who have suggested the same level of opportunities available
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
The Culture
Summer Intern Programme organisers put on great events, but the interns also made an effort to organise events regularly
Central London - very expensive, but worth it from a personal perspective
there is generally something going on 2/3 times a week with other interns, and close by the EY HQ are great bars and cafes to discover
I was engaged in opportunities with other interns, as well as members of my team
