The Role
It was a very good few days but compared to other insight academy's I'd attended possibly not the best one.
A lot of people on each academy (54 on mine) made it difficult to make close friendships and get to know anyone well but the rotations working in different teams was both challenging and rewarding.
All the PwC staff were extremely helpful.
Very fast paced but this is good for a 3 day programme as it definitely makes the most out of a short space of time.
Very team based and assessment activity based.
Would have liked some more actual work experience but the assessed tasks definitely taught me a lot .
The Company
Good lively atmosphere particularly in the evenings and group tasks.
Extremely good organisation and planning, never confused about what you were doing.
Felt very much like a three day assessment center but the opportunities it could provide afterwards are a definite bonus.
Sports and Social Club
As long as you perform well you will either be offered a summer internship or fast tracked into the assessment process.
The Culture
Again a lot of people makes it hard to form close friendships but the evening dinners were very good.
In a hotel, everything paid for!
