The Role
I do think a year was too long to do this particular role
My colleagues have become second family and have been incredibly supportive
I have been given so much support by my manager
Very busy, but the nature of the business is busy so it was nothing unexpected
As this is a proper role within the business there was a lot of responsibility and as I was on such a small team the responsibility increased
I feel I can return to uni knowing what hard work really is
The Company
It is a serious office and does feel tense when everyone is under pressure, but again this is the nature of the business and was not unexpected
I feel there could have been better organisation particularly at the beginning and informing other members of the business that i was a intern and didn't necessarily understand everything about the role and certain procedures
I have had the opportunity to develop myself through numerous training courses which has been fantastic
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
Definitely would consider going back, just not in the same role
The Culture
There was an intern clique but they didn't involve everyone. Also, interns in my area of the business were often too busy to go to the events they did set up
It is expensive, but cheaper than average for London
Lots of professionals, but very enjoyable
Particularly volunteering which is great if you have the time
