The Role
It was highly enjoyable and more interesting than I expected.
My colleagues were lovely and helpful and supported me at all times.
My supervisor/buddy was really great, very friendly and always finding things for me to do.
I had a number of varied projects which kept me busy most of the time. Only on a few occasions did I struggle to find work.
A reasonable amount - I got involved in many projects and often was given tasks which demanded responsibility from me.
I've learnt some great Excel skills which I can take away with me and I feel generally more enlightened about the worlds of finance and insurance.
The Company
Quiet but it was always possible to approach people and have a chat.
Very slick. I had a great induction and then work was planned out for me well in advance.
They invested a lot of time in my training and resources.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Ernst and Young is an ideal place to work.
The Culture
Lots of interns and lots of events organised for us meant that we had many opportunities to bond.
Living at home. Socialising in London is not very cheap!
Pretty good. Large number of cafes and bars available.
Intern events mostly.
