The Role
the placement lived up to my expectations but i wish i had been more prepared.
the work you do is genuine client work, you immediately feel as thought you're presence in the office is recognised and valued.
plenty of feedback and there is always someone to ask, the buddy/managerial/champion systems mean that there is always a port-of-call.
i was very busy the, majority of the time. Especially when you take into account travelling betwen client sites and the London office
as above
i'm tempted to say that careerwise i learnt more in my brief placement than i did during my entire second year of uni.
The Company
was good, causal, and some relaxed conversation/jokes between colleagues made it less formal and intense.
the firm has been running this kind of experience for years and it is clear that experience has paid off. The placement was very well run.
Money, time and senior personnel contributed thier own time to my feedback, which will lead to my development.
