The Role
The placement was great, I spent time on site and in the office, and always had something to do. Learnt a massive ammount. One month was a bit short, but the repsonsibility built up. Good month in general.
I felt valued by all the team, I was given work that had a purpose and that reduced others work load. From the offset i felt like i was helping, and people were appreciative.
The balance was good, i was often told to just get on with stuff, but as long as i gave it a real go, i have given all the support i needed
I always had someting to get on with
the responsibility i was given increased over the month, as did how my work was trusted. it was checked less and less
This will definetly make my last year a lot easier
The Company
very friendly team, all done to earth, easy and available to chat to
Well organised, a relief to be somewhere that puts a real effort into interns. Ian was sublime ;)
I was given a range of jobs, so I could learn about as many different stages of the process as possible, i was given work that had a meaning, not just photocopying. So for someone only here for a short period of time they put the effort in to develop my knowledge
Sports and Social Club
I'd love a job, really enjoyed my time here
The Culture
Good, nice bunch, always someone up for something. being in the city office there were less of us, but we still managed to grab lunch every couple of days
Expensive, but you know what to expet
Good, London is a big place, plenty to do
Softball was organised, but unfortunetly it was rained off, a few other things were mentioned.
