The Role
I enjoyed all aspects of my placement year (the only bit i wish i could have experianced is the car development stages!!)
I became close to some of the colleagues - often there was a divide as it didn't feel as close knit as one would hope a big organisation to be.
Colleagues always offered to help and having a mentor helped as well (not within the team i was working so it was good able to go to an external body)
Each day was busy, plus on a rotation scheme by the time you get the grasp of something you move on... it was very enjoyable though!
Lots of project work which required lots of time and detail
Lots of life skills as well as degree related skills
