The Role
Only had 4 weeks partly due to the Olympics and University commitments
I work with a director and a principal advisor so they are very busy on the phone or out to clients
Left to myself the majority of the time but i would ask questions if stuck or needed something to be clarified and they were happy to help
Lots of things to do, which were actual tasks a graduate would perform but some were quite boring tasks
Quite a bit which was good as it's satisfying and shows that they trust you
It's tasks graduates would perform so it was a useful insight
The Company
It's open plan but a bit quiet.
They helped with regards to being flexible about the dates but there were issues as i wasn't given a buddy whereas other interns were, my staff card was not provided on my first day and i still haven't heard back about my final partner interview. Plus events were not organised for the interns and only met the majority of the interns on the CSR day.
There was a webinar
Subsidised Canteen
People are really friendly and the graduate scheme looks promising.
The Culture
Only on my third week did i meet quite a few of the other interns. They were really friendly and organised a couple of evenings out.
I live in London so it was fine
Canary Wharf closes quite early but easy to get to central London.
