The Role
I enjoyed working there but sometimes there's not much to do so i use to get bored. it was not as challenging as i thought it would be. that is just my position others might be different. When i feel like i do not have much to do i work on my teams sharepoint by doing some online training.
most of the document i produce were important but when we had a change of management everything went down hill i was not invited to meeting discussing where my team was going. my manager use to inform me. it can be a bit demotivating but you have to make it motivating ask questions!
with every task i am given, they help me understand.
i was busy on a monthly basis when I have to do the reports or have a roadmap comparisons to construct
i felt i had been given more responsibilities when i had a new manager as i took over some tasks from the previous one.
To me everyday at work and outside work was a learning experience. I learnt stuff that I have not learn in university and also the experience were stuff that i have read about; to experience it i think was really good. Although i was working in the marketing team it was a business function that i didn't know about. I have gain a language skills which i feel confident about doing in university. Personally i feel like i am more organised and confident now than before and i also feel like i am ready for the working environment and i know what to expects everyone has to start from somewhere.

The Culture
the students were great but as time goes on there will be groups forming, back chatting etc. You have very little time to get to know the students in my case about 30+ students English, French, Spanish etc. Just make most of your year!
The beautiful south of France is very expensive. restaurants, bar, supermarkets. Some of the student do have parties in their house but the French can get violent they complain about everything and every little thing they call the police.
Boring everything closes in winter. In summer every thing is great. WTH
