The Role
The work was varied and interesting, and there was also social stuff, although there could have been more!
As much as possible.
Everyone was really helpful and willing to answer my questions - best thing to do was ask the trainee in charge of you if you didn't understand anything.
Some days very busy, some days very little, but this tended to reflect the actual work balance of the people you were sitting with and what you COULD do for them.
More during times of stress when they needed you, plus if you did something valuable it was used.
Learnt lot's of practical things, like how to write up certain document types, which I couldn't otherwise have known.
The Company
Everyone was really nice and helpful.
It was good, but there were a few blips, like when they forgot to take information from you, or to schedule your reviews, but these didn't matter too much.
We had workshops on skills such as negotiation, and Intellectual Property, plus there were talks from every department to explain options to us.

Company Parties/Events
Pretty good, the trainees all really seemed to like it.
The Culture
Pretty good
Drinks were very expensive (£7 for a small glass of wine) near the office, but cheaper places not far. Lived at home.
Same as above, expensive and best to wander a bit from the office, but most young members don't live right next to the office anyway!
There were, supposedly, pro-bono things, but these didn't seem to materialise. There were sports teams etc though to get involved with.
