The Role
Great office, all extremely sociable and lots of interesting work to do.
Genuinely feel of use every day.
Everybody is happy to help, even very senior team members.
Varies with some days being busy and other not so much. The student project is a great piece of work to get on with when client work is quiet so I've never been bored. Seems that interns in the Birmingham office have been exposed to a lot more client work than other offices which I've enjoyed so far.
I've worked on a number of client projects so quite a lot
Finally able to apply a lot of the concepts taught in Economics to the real world especially discounting, interpolation, compounding and inflation to name but a few.
The Company
Very professional atmosphere in the office, as expected, but everybody is sociable and keen to do things after work
Extremely well organised, never in doubt as to what I am supposed to be doing or where I'm supposed to be.
Huge investment, lots of training and exposure to client work plus good pay
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Excellent placement, hope I've impressed enough to be offered a job.
The Culture
5 a side football, work drinks and clubbing, nice lunches. Small office but still a good social scene.
It's Birmingham so cheap compared to London but not as cheap as other locations.
Office is in Brindley place so a huge selection of nice bars on the doorstep. Gatecrasher is a 5 minute walk as are a number of other nightclubs.
5 a side football, work drinks, there's a summer party coming up and other sporting activities are arranged regularly
