The Role
Friendly atmosphere in office, everyone easy to talk to and gained good understanding of work
Definately felt valued, office is very open plan so I got to talk to all of the people around me and found that I have something in common with everyone
Rather than guidance the work was more designed to be challenging, so I had to discover things on my own, but people in the office are more than happy to help when asked
Generally busy. I had a project within my office and another with other interns, I definately was never sitting at my desk with nothing to do
Lots, more than I was expecting.
I developed a lot of programming skills which I think in any job related to this career area will be massively important. Also received training on excel, learnt about formal and professional presentation.
The Company
Open plan layout encourages collaborative atmospheren and people are all friendly
I had a clear outline of what I needed to do and timeframes for my work
Was provided with internal training available to all employees
Working from home
Enjoyed my internship and continuing to work here is very appealing
The Culture
Good mix of people and very sociable
Not too bad
Didnt particulary get a chance to experience nightlife, people generally get last train home so allnighters aren't very often
During my internship as well as going to the pub with other colleagues, i took part in a volunteering day, rounders tournament between offices, lunchtime football and being the judge of a baking competition!
