The Role
A good mixture of work, friendly colleagues and the project work on the side made an overall wonderful internship. I really liked the mixture of actuarial work (in the office) and marketing work (in the project).
Colleagues included us in all events both in and out of the office.
All my queries were answered.
I was generally at the right level.
My excel skills have gone from being minimal to above average. I also enjoyed using the launchpad software for the first time!
The Company
Everyone gets on well, and all work is done thoroughly, but there is always time for a chat too.
Well-structured overall.
I felt valued in the office (Leeds).
Company Parties/Events
I'd like to think I've performed well on the internship, and I really feel like I fit in well here.
The Culture
Social events were promoted and encouraged, and were very enjoyable.
Not as cheap as Sunderland, but cheaper than Oxford!
The places we went to were great.
There was something on after work at least once a week.
