The Role
I really enjoyed this placement and the time flew by!
I felt well valued, and was included in the majority of their work.
My supervisors were fantastic and always had time for me if I needed support.
I wsa reasonably busy througout my placement, but they were some inevitable quiet periods.
I was given responsibility in terms of legal research and preparing notes.
I revieved invaluale training, both through formal presentations and workshops, and informally through my supervisor and trainees.
The Company
The atmosphere was relaxed and collegiate, whilst obviously hard-working.
The placement was well organised, with a good balance between timetabled activities and general time in the office.
The firm invested a lot of time in giving us informative presentations and workshops, run by senior members of the firm and trainees.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Everyone was given the chance to interview for the job at the end of the placement.
The Culture
Our group was very sociable and friendly.
The high cost of living and socialising was expected considering the placement is in central London.
As expected from central London.
We had opportunities to do pro bono work and play sports.
