The Role
I was given such high quality work and had real responsibility. The placement also had a great variety of social events, which were attended by various Nabarro employees, so that our vacation scheme intake bonded really well.
Everyone, including partners and the head of department, were very friendly and supportive at all times. A firm with a real open door policy.
My supervisor and trainee buddy were excellent and helped me whenever I needed additional explanations or when I had any other questions.
I was given a really well balanced amount of work. I never felt overwhelmed and I was never bored either.
I called clients, drafted emails, checked execution documents etc.; I was given quite a lot of responsibility.
We received excellent training for Westlaw and LexisNexis. It was also very helpful to get used to Worksite, which is the programme that most law firms use to manage their cases and documents.
The Company
The people are great; very friendly, open and outgoing.
Perfect - we were always kept busy with a wide range of activities, presentations etc.
We were given training sessions for the first two days, which enabled us to use their systems perfectly well.

Company Parties/Events
Nabarro take almost all of their trainees from their vacation schemes. So a vacation scheme is the way forward if you want to work for Nabarro.
The Culture
We went out almost every other night. We bonded and got on very well.
The firm provided for a lot of the drinks and food, so any other socialising was as expensive/cheap as London can be.
Nabarro is located very central, so there's anything you want within 5 - 20 minutes reach.
Not as many as I expected. Although we did go to quite a few trainee events.
