The Role
I really enjoyed my internship at Towers Watson.
They tried hard to make me feel welcome, keep me busy and my work varied.
My manager was always ready to answer questions, and kept an eye on how I was doing to make sure I was getting enough work, it was varied and that I was settling in.
I was usually quite busy, and never had long periods of time without work.
I was given some responsibility during my internship.
I think that the skills I have developed in working in an office environment will be extremely useful for later life, and the training I have received will be a great help when I start work properly as an actuary.
The Company
The office was quite young, and everyone was very friendly and willing to talk.
There had obviously been a lot of effort and work into the internship to make sure everything worked well, and I think that it paid off as everything seemed to run smoothly.
People put a lot of time and effort into explaining work to you, and were always ready to answer questions. A lot of emphasis was placed on helping you understand what was going on, rather than just doing the work quickly.

Company Parties/Events
I don't know if I have a job, but if one was offered it would be very appealing.
The Culture
The office tried hard to arrange social events for the interns, and as a group of interns we have had several social events.
Living in London, and going out in London, is quite expensive.
London nightlife is very good.
We were offered lots of trips to the pub and park, and also other activities like sports were on offer.
