  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • My intern at natwest was very fulfilling and really enjoyed the placement

    • The colleagues in branch made me feel very welcome.. i didn't feel like a placement student I really did feel like fmaily

    • Natwest had a really good management team, and helped alot with training and with any queries i had

    • I was really busy on a day to day basis with management and customers

    • not much responsibility was given but that was expected working with a big bank

    • I learnt about the FSA so it did help towards my studies

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Working with customers daily was a treat + got to meet some nice characters! and also working with the natwest colleagues was great

    • The placement was setup at headoffice and so i enjoyed it alot! it really was thought through and delivered on everything they said they would

    • There were training sessions for FSA cources which were very useful.

    • Would love to work for natwest in there head office london (however it will be difficult and very competitive)

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • social scene was minimul apart from the odd work party

    • living at home was cheap

    • there were a few bars and clubs and restaurants however close links to birmingham were better

    • no activities from the work place to get involved in
