The Role
Everyone made me feel welcome and the work was interesting
I felt like I could ask anyone if I needed help
Some guidance was given, but my manager was not in the office a lot in my first week
Whenever I ran out of work I always asked around and someone would give me a piece of work to do
I was helping with client work, so my work did actually mean something
Some of the excel skills will help me in a future job, but I don't think anything I learnt could be particularly applied to my degree
The Company
Everyone was friendly, my team went to lunch together and there was chatter in the office
Fairly well organised induction, but I wasn't aware I would be spending time in different tax departments before I joined
Full week induction which involved training and development
Subsidised Canteen
Will hopefully get a partner interview after my placement
The Culture
Regularly went for drinks on friday evening
Reasonable, not too expensive
Lots of bars
Sports clubs
