  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Everyone made me feel welcome and the work was interesting

    • Some guidance was given, but my manager was not in the office a lot in my first week

    • Whenever I ran out of work I always asked around and someone would give me a piece of work to do

    • I was helping with client work, so my work did actually mean something

    • Some of the excel skills will help me in a future job, but I don't think anything I learnt could be particularly applied to my degree

    • Everyone was friendly, my team went to lunch together and there was chatter in the office

    • Fairly well organised induction, but I wasn't aware I would be spending time in different tax departments before I joined
