The Role
Absolutely loved it. Worked in the Pensions audit dept and everyone was lovely, such a great team. The work was tough, but when is it ever not going to be!
Like I say, great team work.
I was guided all along the way by anyone I worked with, not just managers or supervisors.
Not due to the job, due to clients being late with their work!
Quite a lot, I was given steps to do on audits and spoke directly with clients when out on jobs. They really trusted me!
Amazing experience. Learnt a lot about the professional work environment. Learnt a lot that will help me with the rest of my degree. AND learnt a lot about what I actually want to do after university!
The Company
We all had a great social life at lunch times and after work with the team - and other interns!
Without a hitch
I was taught every step that a graduate would, they valued my work and were happy to sponsor me to go away to clients over night and spend time travelling around the country.
Waiting to hear! Fingers crossed for an offer...
The Culture
Yes, we all went out every friday night. Had a final black tie ball organised for us by EY and it was a great end to the 6 weeks!
Reading - South East England, what can you expect?
Spent lots of time in local bars and pubs. Even for just grabbing lunch on a Friday!
EY in Reading have a free bar for big events. We had one set up for the Olympics and we went out with the department and with the interns regularly.
