The Role
Challenging work, good people who were very helpful
Very welcoming and friendly
HR very helpful, assigned a champion as well who was my main point of contact and very supportive
Given a project to fill any gaps in work, so always had something to do
Tasks were explained then I was left to complete them
Very relevant insight into the daily work of an actuary, which is the career I hope to follow in the future
The Company
Very good team atmosphere, and everyone is very pleasant
Well planned, but any queries that I had were dealt with very speedily
Residential training/induction before I started, then IT training etc after I began work
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I intend on applying for a graduate role as I enjoyed it so much
The Culture
I was out with folks from work in my first week, there's plenty of lunches, and the summer scheme students are having a night out when we finish
I already stay in Edinburgh so didn't incur many additional costs - it's a student city so it's not too bad!
Student city!!
I was invited to out of work sports activities and other social events. Once again, you can find anything you want in Edinburgh
