The Role
Enjoyed it a lot, a really good firm to work for
Was a very friendly team, easy to get on with
Was given guidance and great system in place for interns
Not that busy but it wasn't a very busy period for my department. They tried their best to get me involved in as much as possible.
A relative amount. The opportunities were not really there for that but they still kept me involved in things.
I got some valuable learning from it.
The Company
Very friendly and lively atmosphere- might not be the same in other departments though!
Well organised- lots of people to turn to if a problem, good introduction event.
Invested a lot, it is clear they have put a lot of money and thought into the internship scheme.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing as I have enjoyed the internship a lot.
The Culture
Yes- not that many interns chose to get involved but was fun with those that did!
Relatively cheap compared to London, and lived at home so saved costs there.
Not bad- Birmingham is not the best though!
Lots! Junior networking, sports, socials, CSR day.
