The Role
I really enjoyed the Nabarro vacation scheme. I was able to work on huge deals and contribute significantly to their success on the vacation scheme.
I worked in a small department that had lots of work. So I actually felt that they wanted me and they wanted me to work as hard as i could, within reason.
I was mostly guided by my buddy (trainee) who knew a lot about the department's work. My trainee was always happy to help, so much so that even when they weren't available I knew how to manage some of the work myself.
I was always busy.
I was given some responsibility. If you were able to handle that well, you were given more. Eventually, I was able to solve a small but critical problem in a transaction myself.
They will stay with me for a very long time!
The Company
Definitely not dull.
Brilliantly organised.
Nabarro invested a lot of money in us.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing.
The Culture
The social scene was vibrant.
London is quite expensive.
It was quite active.
There were some opportunities to get involved in pro bono work and the office olympics.
