  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Very enjoyable scheme all round!

    • Everybody was always very grateful for work submitted.

    • Didn't necessarily see my supervisor much, but everyone was happy to help!

    • Some days were hectic, some were very quiet.

    • I was given real work, but was safe in the knowledge that it would always be checked.

    • The real work has definitely taught me a lot of skills that I will take forward to employment.

    • Was work-focused but enjoyable.

    • The firm offered IT training not offered on other Vac Scheme, which was definitely useful!

    • Haven't heard back from the firm yet, but I think half of my vac scheme will receive job offers.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Other vac schemers and trainees were up for a laugh and a few drinks after work.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Eating and drinking was quite expensive, as is rent, but it is easily commutable from cheaper areas.

    • Lot of bars and pubs, but quite a distance from decent resturants.

    • I took part in pro bono legal advice clinic.
