The Role
Very enjoyable scheme all round!
Everybody was always very grateful for work submitted.
Didn't necessarily see my supervisor much, but everyone was happy to help!
Some days were hectic, some were very quiet.
I was given real work, but was safe in the knowledge that it would always be checked.
The real work has definitely taught me a lot of skills that I will take forward to employment.
The Company
Was work-focused but enjoyable.
Great organisation!
The firm offered IT training not offered on other Vac Scheme, which was definitely useful!
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Haven't heard back from the firm yet, but I think half of my vac scheme will receive job offers.
The Culture
Other vac schemers and trainees were up for a laugh and a few drinks after work.
Eating and drinking was quite expensive, as is rent, but it is easily commutable from cheaper areas.
Lot of bars and pubs, but quite a distance from decent resturants.
I took part in pro bono legal advice clinic.
