The Role
Struggled with it due to the work not being that interesting, plus a combination of clashing personalities within my team.
Not much feedback given on completed work.
Very blunt support given, shown once how to do something and sort of expected to remember and know after that.
Far too busy, often had 10-11 + hour days.
Quite a lot, was critical within team to complete reporting every month.
Useful in the long run, not so useful at degree level, due to the majority being technical skills.
The Company
Only had social activity with team / department when organised by the social committee.
Very well except for IT issues at the start left people without a laptop for 2 weeks.
Compulsory intern training on 3 courses, but nothing extra except that.
Subsidised Canteen
Not what I want to do in the future I have decided so looks poor.
The Culture
Not bad, people always willing to do things outside of work.
Quite expensive, although it was to be expected.
Pretty good, close enough to bars/clubs and made for cheap night out.
In work too late to really notice usually!
