The Role
Loads of exciting and varied work.
Felt like part of the team, treated no differently to anyone else.
Help was always on hand of needed.
Due to the nature of the job I either had loads of work or nothing at all to do.
Left in charge of plenty of tasks to do by myself
Skills very useful for future jobs but not so much for university, except proving it is possible to get out of bed before 9am!
The Company
Constant banter amoungst team in office, nevwer a dull day.
Everything was sorted for my arrival so I was able to get straight to work with all the information i needed available.
Very extensive training available in both technical and team building aspects with a wide range of course and activities on offer.

Will hopefully get a summer placement next year and then a graduate offer
The Culture
Loads of activities put on by the company on arrival such as bowling, free meals etc most of the graduates/placement students would then meet up regularly for different activities i.e Mondays-Bunch of us would go rock climbing together Tuesdays- Skiing at Milton Keynes Wednesdays- Discounted cinima tickets through sports and social club Thursdays- Poker night Fridays- Beers and movie night/night out
Not as bad as london prices but could be cheaper
night clubs etc were awful so you have to make your own entertainment but with the right people anywhere can be fun
MBDA has a sports and social club with a long list of clubs such as football, cricket, climbing, ultimate frisbee and even gardening! there is also lots of activities to assist with chartership such as vex robot and the glider challange which involve helping local schools with engineering activities.
