The Role
Tremendously enjoyable. Great fellow interns, great offices and it was very fun to live in London for a while.
Cetainly towards the end I did feel valued as I got more and more involved with things
Very well run programme. Lots of professional development, great communication.
Plenty of workload, especially considering the term of the internship was shortened due to the olympics
I was given some responsibility but not lots, but then I can completely understand why as I was there for such a relatively small amount of time
I have definitely developed professionally and have honed and added skills that will be very useful to me throughout my career.
The Company
The offices are very grand and very professional. Everyone is 'business-like' but not dull by any means, there was a great social side.
The FLDP team did an outstanding job. Communicationwas great throughout and everything ran like clockwork.
Each week there was a differnt seminar or exercise on things like: presentation skills, stakeholder management, personal brand. The induction was great as well.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
They have extended my contract and I hope to secure a place on the highly-regarded graduate scheme as well.
The Culture
There were many social events, we were also allocated a budget for our own planning of events. There was networking as well as an invite to the 'special floor' with the CEO.
Towards the expensive side but, hey, it is London after all!
Really good, Canary Wharf has a good social scene and there are many other places a short tube ride away.
We did some volunteering as a cohort and helped out in the community.
