The Role
The work was hard, but not any harder than you would expect in a top City law firm.
You'll get really friendly with lawyers at associate and trainee level, but not partners. They're friendly enough, but very busy all the time.
Everyone was extremely busy, but nonetheless put in a lot of effort to keep you busy and engaged in the work.
This will differ from department to department and supervisor to supervisor. It really depends on what sort of transactions and deals they're working on.
A fair amount of responsibility, but nothing too overwhelming.
I'm definitely much better prepared for any others City interviews and work experience, though I am keen on getting a TC at Simmons.
The Company
The Simmons Grad Rec Team is fantastic and really friendly.

The Culture
It was a quite a mix of people, never got boring!
London's obviously really expensive, but the firm did their best to facilitate socialising on a budget.
Simmons do a lot of pro bono work and we were encouraged to get involved.
