The Role
I was given a meaningful project to complete and people across teams were helpful
I was fortunate to be in a team where communication was open and discussion of ideas welcomed
We had things to do throughout the day, not just work on our projects which was good
I was supposed to write a report which would be published after vetting, my ideas were taken in serious consideration
The Company
People were friendly and open, managing directors sat at desks like everyone without closed doors.
We had some lectures and training scheduled intermittedly, some were interesting while some were just repetitions.
The most important investment was time.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Healthcare from home
Remains to be seen until the end of the internship. The situation in financial industry is pretty bleak now.
The Culture
The city is an expensive place but you can find nice deals
