The Role
Great atmosphere, fun co-workers, interesting work.
I was given a topic to work with in the research group. The product group found my work interesting and implemented some of my ideas.
They were very helpful in getting any resources I needed. When I was having problems with my projects, they were very willing to help find solutions.
Very busy, but because I was self-driven.
I was given free reign to explore my ideas.
Good mix of implementation work/research.
The Company
Went to the ARM BBQ, which was amazing. They must have spent a TON of money on food/drinks/activities. In general people in the office were fun to hang out with outside of work.
A few hiccups with HR, but overall good. Common HR problems went through smoothly, but exceptions were sometimes difficult to deal with.
Much of my time was spent learning and the company was willing to send me to and pay for week long training sessions. I declined, but it was a good opportunity.

The Culture
Other students/co-workers often set up social events outside work. They were very inclusive.
Cambridge area is VERY expensive
Good, but I suspect you can find better.
Football and many other sports. People set up their own activities as well.
