  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Really enjoyed my time, great group of people

    • Always someone on hand including supervisor, trainee buddy, Grad Recruitment

    • My two departments ; dispute resolution and corporate were very busy and I had a very interesting mix of work and projects that the teams involved me with.

    • More than I expected and have had at other firms. This was real work serving a genuine purpose.

    • Incredibly welcoming and friendly

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • Everything was set up fantastically and ran like clockwork, it was a great three week timetable with something to do almost every day.

    • It was obvious a lot of time and effort had been invested, the firm went above and beyond to give a true reflection of life at Baker & Mckenzie

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Lots of great socials put on by grad recruitment and trainees and associates took us for coffees. I was also invited to departmental after work drinks.

    • Fortunate to live in London so not a problem

    • Plenty to do, it is the city!
