The Role
Enjoyed a good balance, welcomed into the group and did some genuinely interesting work.
Hard and good work was recognised. What you put in is what you get out and colleagues value the commitment.
Fairly little guidance - more left to it.
At times busier than I wanted to be, but rarely bored.
Given more responsibility than expected.
Not a waste of time at all, but equally had no affect on my degree.
The Company
Very busy as you would expect with any M&A work.
Initial placement was organised very well, however there were some small organisational errors during subsequent placements.
Training offered, people really try to make sure you understand the work and are developing a good knowledge base.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Good future work prospects at the firm.
The Culture
Really good group of friends working on the scheme.
London is London...
Fine - as long as you are in London you're going to enjoy yourself.
Unsure - I had enough to do outside of work without relying on work to help with my own time.
