The Role
A really enjoyable three weeks that flew by really quickly.
It did vary between different individuals but surprisingly this was not linked in any way to their ranking within the firm.
This varied between supervisors but generally they were very supportive.
Although the amounts of work fluctuated, this is a good representation of how working in the firm will really be.
This is not something I would suggest needed to be changed however! I felt I was given as much responsibility as they could realistically expect with no training.
As well as providing me with the hope of securing a training contract and boosting my CV, there are some skills that will be transferable.
The Company
It was very hard working but the people working there were all very friendly and approachable.
The timetable given to us was very accurate and graduate recruitment were always in touch if there was any changes.
There were many useful workshops and talks about various aspects of the firm. I was also impressed with the level of seniority of employees who were involved on the scheme.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would be happy to work at the firm and would definitely accept a training contract offer.
The Culture
The socials were the highlight of the placement. Everyone was really friendly and got on well.
Although it is London after all and therefore is to be expected! Where the firm is situated is not more expensive than other areas of the city.
I did not really experience the night life other than the socials as I did not live in London but the socials that the firm organised were all great.
There were socials at least once a week which were all really fun. The underground cookery was my favourite.
