The Role
The department was quite small and everyone was close and made me welcome.
I was given a section of the audit to complete myself and left to work myself and any problems I had would be expalined through with other colleagues.
There was always plenty of work to be getting on with but no pressure to be rushing to finish.
I was pretty shocked at the level of trust and responsibility given to me. I meet with clients myself, regularly and was solely responsible for sections of the audit myself.
The hands on audit experiance helped but theory in practice and more general meeting with sometimes difficult clients is invaluable.
The Company
A great mix of characters, I'm still friends with several people in the department.
For such a sort placement I spent a week in training and also took part in a CSR event.
Subsidised Canteen

Healthcare from home
I recieved a final interview at the end of my six weeks and accepted a job offer after I graduate.
The Culture
All placement students spent a great week at the beginning together in a country club in Cheshire! After this everyone made some great friends.
Glasgow's one of the best cities in the with cheap living and a great people/ entertainment.
There's something for everyone in Glasgow.
All placement students went on a CSR day to help an old parish church. We all had drinks and dinner with the department.
