  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Interesting and good to get real exposure to workings of the bank.

    • When we interacted it was good but alot of the time they wanted to get on with their own work.

    • busy on my project - had to self motivate which was slightly hard everyday for 9 weeks.

    • Writing a 'note' and went to meetings and breakfasts.

    • May not be hiring huge amount this year but think we have a fair shot.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Very busy but yes, UBS put on drinks and networking events, and interns would socialise independently too.

    • London is expensive! But that is reflected somewhat in your paypacket.

    • London nightlife is great but again, expensive.

    • Yes but very busy and very long days mean you dont actually have time.
