The Role
I find my internship really interesting as I am learning a lot about the different problematics which arise in an international company.
Even if I am a new joiner, I feel like my colleagues have well welcomed me and consider me as one of their team members.
Every time I had a query or a question, someone always took the time to explain or train me.
Because I have a personal project to develop, and as I am also invovled in the daily tasks of our team, I always have something to do.
I was given the opportunity to developp a whole new standard process on a specific issue our team is dealing with. I was given autonomy and independence in my work.
I got to develop my VBA programming and EXcel skills which are going to be useful for the future.
The Company
Even during stressful times, people always find the time to discuss and laught to calm the atmosphere
As soon as I arrived, I got interesting things to do.
During our induction week, we got general training on Corporate Finance courses, how to read a balance sheet,... On a daily basis my team trains me on the tools but also on the financial products wa are working with.
Company Parties/Events
I would really like to join UBS Graduate Scheme.
The Culture
Our team project allow us to work altogether.
The cost of living is the same as any other part in London.
With my team and other interns we enjoyed some afterworks meetings.
I got the opportunity to take part in some charity work organised by UBS over the internship.
