The Role
I learnt a lot from this internship. The team I was in had a good atmosphere and the work was project based(although there was tough/grunt work for some time). The bank organised many education sessions and events for learning and networking for interns. Overall it's a good experience.
My manager showed much appreciation for my work. My boss took me to a few meetings with senior people. They gave timely and instructive feedback on my work and give me guidance on which areas I could improve upon.
Whenever I have queries or run into problems, I can always find someone to help me out. They are quite busy on a daily basis but are really willing to help you out (or direct you to other people) if you encounter any problems. I had regular meetings with my buddy in which I got opportunities to exchange ideas and learn from new perspectives.
Generally the day is quite packed once the project I was working on started. There are a few days at the beginning when you have some free time, but if you are keen there is actually much to do and learn.
Generally they get me involved as much as possible, as I was responsible for a certain aspect of the project I was working on (as well as other work within the team). Glad to see what I had done was actually used in the project.
I have developed myself in many aspects. My manager tried to make sure that I make the most of the internship and encouraged me to link what I learnt at school to the work here, from which I benefited much.
The Company

Quite high.
Haven't got much chance to experience.
There are many volunteering opportunities.
