The Role
The overall experience was not great.
Many people did not have time for interns, and human contact could be limited at times.
The management were not (very) often around - being busy marketing in other countries or sites.
A lot of time was wasted and far more could have been achieved if the environment were better.
Few skills developed, though a lot of knowledge of the industry and how different department fit together
The Company
It was never going to be 'great fun' though it was far more corporate than anticipated
From the HR side the organisation was excellent, with interesting events scattered around the 10 weeks.
Long hours, fairly monotonousness work for at least a few years before any material career progression.
The Culture
People were too tired to relax
Central London is expensive
Probably good - did not get to see it. Nightlife is not what this placement is for.
One community affairs project.
