The Role
A great internship! Great atmosphere, interesting work and gained a lot of new skills
The work I did will be rolled out into production, not just a project that is forgotten about
1 week of intense training at the beginning. Continuous financial training throughout the internship and mentor/manager and team mates always keen to help out.
Working on an individual project throughout the internship
Enough responsibility to make you feel valued as part of the team
A lot of technical skills - working with an existing large code base, financial training provided also.
The Company
Friendly atmosphere - especially in the pantry
Very organised, HR are keen to make sure you are enjoying the internship and any problems are solved. There could be more social events arranged though.
Several outside visits to financial insitutions like Bank of England/Metal exchange, financial lecture series, different technical course offerings
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would be very happy to work at Bloomberg full time!
The Culture
All the interns are very friendly
London is an expensive city
London has a great club and bar scene
Not organised by work but between interns we organised a lot
