The Role
Overall the placement was very enjoyable
I got on really well with my colleagues. They made me feel useful.
Managers were very supportive
On somedays I was very busy, on others I wasn't
I was given a fair amount of responsibility
I developed a lot of skills that will be useful in the future
The Company
The atmosphere was really good
I had to deal with a lot of IT issues which could have been sorted out before I started
The company put a lot of resources towards the development of the interns

There are a lot of future employment opportunities for successful interns
The Culture
There were events organised for the interns by HSBC as well as by interns themselves
The area were my placement was based was cheap
The nightlife was not so good.
Part of our internship was to raise money for charity which made us get involved in activities outside of work.
